BJJ Isn't Something You Read About

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a living art. It's the feeling of solving a physical puzzle with another person. It's the confidence that comes from knowing you can protect yourself and your family. It's the community that forms when people push each other to be better.

You can't understand it from a website. You have to step on the mat, tie a belt around your waist, and experience it for yourself.

Everything You Need to Know

Do I need any experience?

No experience required. Most of our members start as complete beginners. We have programs specifically designed for people who have never trained before, including our Fundamentals program for adults.

Do I need to be in shape?

No. BJJ will get you in shape. Start where you are, train consistently, and you'll see dramatic improvements in fitness, flexibility, and overall health.

What should I bring to my first class?

Just yourself and athletic clothes (t-shirt and shorts). We'll provide a loaner gi for your first class. Bring water and an open mind.

Is it safe? Will I get hurt?

BJJ is one of the safest martial arts. There's no striking, and you can tap out anytime. Our instructors prioritize safety and create a controlled learning environment where beginners can learn at their own pace.

What's the time commitment?

It's up to you. Some members train 2-3 times per week, others train daily. Come when you canβ€”consistency matters more than frequency. We have morning, afternoon, and evening classes to fit your schedule.
